Devore + George! + Idyll Twice

Dévore Art-pop (Paris Strasbourg) a musical project based between Strasbourg and Paris, conceived by Jimy De Haese (vocals, guitar) and joined by Bastien Griat (saxophone, synths).

On stage, the group has evolved through different formats and is now increasingly asserting itself as a trio, accompanied by flautist Louise Deschodt. In May 2024, the duo unveiled 'Silent Park'.

This first effort adopted an organic and modern approach to analogue synthesizers, as well as a pronounced taste for pop melodies and electronic trance moments, following in the footsteps of Depeche Mode, Metronomy and Anika.

The EP led the group to perform for a year across France: from the Strasbourg Music Week festival to Paris for the Les Inrocks Super Club springboard.

The members met at a picnic and started their first rehearsals in Chiara's room. So far, many things are put together in this room where the majority of the songs are written, produced and mixed. The result is a first EP, « Home Is Elsewhere  », available now.

The band self-produced this intimate and instinctive EP, which transforms childhood memories into sensitive soundscapes.

Each track encapsulates a precise emotion, giving birth to an eclectic project between lo-fi folk, fragile ambient and electronic poetry, linked by a common theme: family, absence and friendship as a refuge.
