Elise & The Sugarsweets
An explosive meeting between the warmth of Rhythm & Blues, the energy of funk and the sweetness of soul.
Overview
An explosive meeting between the warmth of Rhythm & Blues, the energy of funk and the sweetness of soul. Carried by the powerful, mesmerising voice of Yulia Gubenko, the band champions original music that is both rooted in tradition and resolutely contemporary.
In France and across Europe, Elise & The Sugarsweets have built their reputation on the generosity of their live shows and the finesse of their compositions.
Their Rhythm & Blues draws on African-American heritage to deliver music that is vibrant, personal and deeply of the moment. A world to discover at Le Triton, where it comes into its own. Yulia Gubenko – vocals. Olivier Raymond – guitar. Bala Pradal – keyboards.
Olivier Ferrié – drums. Sébastien Levanneur – bass. Julien Boisseau – bass. Éric Mula – trumpet. Philippe Selam – saxophone.
