In 2012, following the Strauss-Kahn affair, I created "Et pendant ce temps Simone veille", which traces the history of women in France from the 1950s to the present day, through four lineages of women across four generations. For me, that show was a duty of memory: a way of recalling where we came from so as not to go back there.

One day a friend whispered in my ear: "You should do the same thing for men!" The idea immediately appealed to me. My idea of feminism has always been about moving forward together, men and women hand in hand. But while, when you put three women on a bench for an hour, they tell each other their lives, men gathered on a bench for a lifetime barely manage to tell each other an hour's worth!

I therefore wanted, in a humorous and musical tone, to try to break through the silence of men and their difficulties in being men throughout history, entering the male universe by accompanying four lineages of men across several generations, with the character of Miss Freud as the common thread: she narrates this evolution of the male condition and serves as the point of connection between the different male characters.
