La Folle et Inconvenante Histoire des Femmes

Blending humour, derision and emotion, an odyssey that takes us along the long road to women's liberation through time.

This show follows a young woman who, using a history book bequeathed to her by her grandmother, decides at last to give a voice to the great silent figures of past centuries: women.

From Prehistory to the 21st century, she brings to life female characters, real or fictional, heterosexual or homosexual, who together, mixing humour and commitment, bear witness to this great forgotten history of women, their history.

A funny, explosive, extremely well-researched, fascinating and offbeat immersion in the history of women! Very funny and full of references to current affairs, the show nonetheless keeps some touching moments, moving from laughter to emotion.

These characters, famous or unknown, witness the upheavals and injustices of their time, and make this play a show more than necessary. ELLE Rhythmic and harmonious, with a radiant energy.

MARIANNE Far from being just another feminist show, it is one of the must-see plays of the moment, to entertain, delight and learn about (and from) our history all at once!
