Ultimissimo

Here is your chance to applaud, one last time, the duo famous for its legendary surreal Belgian eccentricity: “La Framboise Frivole” has put together a Best-Of, with a flavour only they know how to create, to celebrate its 35 years by revisiting its finest compositions!

Their ultimate show… really?

After 35 years of playful exploration, musicological research, world premieres of previously unheard scores by great masters, and virtuosic music full of humour, freshness and vivacity that has set so many halls vibrating, La Framboise Frivole takes its bow with an explosive Best-Of!

But beware: “last show” does not mean “last fit of laughter”. Still armed with their piano, their cello and their gentle madness, these two virtuosos of the absurd revisit the great history of music in their own way: off-kilter, brilliant and exhilarating.

For your greatest pleasure, you will be able to hear or hear again: Bernstein’s Ave Maria, Gounod’s Chantal, Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody, Bach’s Maria, Gershwin’s Requiem Mass, Operas, oratorios and oratettes, Concerto pour une Fois, Carnival of the Animals, Les Mariages, Carmina Burana, Les élèves, Les planètes, La Moto, Queen’s Hungarian Rhapsody, Le Violoncelle qui parle, Le Ballet de Filip et Mathilde, If...
