Festival Everybody, 6e édition sur le corps contemporain au Carreau du Temple

Initiated by Le Carreau du Temple, the Everybody Festival returns for a sixth edition, continuing its questioning of the place of the body in contemporary societies. On the programme: shows, drag cabaret, classes & workshops, meetings…

The Everybody Festival spotlights artists who place the representation of the body at the heart of their practice, and who explore the many ways of inhabiting one's identity and one's differences.

What views do the artists take on the stereotypes linked in particular to gender, skin colour, age and disability in our society? In the current climate, how do they approach questions of identity and difference?

From the most virtuosic to the most disorienting, the physical body - or rather the way we perceive it - reflects the social and political mechanisms that shape how we look.

Everybody thus becomes a bubbling bath of aesthetics, perspectives and languages drawn from many horizons, where singular, hybrid and often surprising forms take shape.

Plural aesthetics, amplified spaces - from the theatre auditorium to the Halle, by way of Flore's studio - invite the public to immerse themselves from one show to the next.

Discovering identities and narratives that reinvent themselves, sharing ideas and feeding the debate: that is the wager of Everybody.

On the programme: shows and performances, dance workshops and classes, contemporary art installations, DJ sets… With the artists: Mehdi Dahkan, Héla Fattoumi & Sondos Belhassen, Éric Minh Cuong Castaing, Clément Papachristou (programme being finalised).
