« An intelligent investigative show led by two painfully truthful actors. » — SNES
Freud feels his death approaching as Europe collapses. Through a fiercely tense dialogue with his daughter Anna, a quasi-detective investigation unfolds, forcing him to revisit his past and confront a painful dilemma: what if he had conceived the Oedipus complex as a substitute for his initial theory, in which real sexual abuse—rather than a fantasy—was responsible for his patients' trauma? And what if he had intended thereby to conceal the true nature of his own father, Jakob?
