Presented by Corpus Production. David Castello-Lopes - Délicieux. I nearly called this show “Le plaisir”. Then I thought that the only pleasures people would think of with a title like that would be those forbidden to under-18s.

But, for financial reasons, I want under-18s to be able to attend my show too. So I called it “Délicieux”: it is a family show. In one hour and twenty minutes, I will try to untangle the complexity of what brings pleasure to human beings.

Of course pleasure can come from a glass of Sancerre sipped on the banks of the Seine in spring. But it can also be brought on by the death of someone you don't like. Of course an unexpected promotion within the company brings joy.

But so does eating Camembert at Camembert, or knowing that you don't pronounce the “z” in Avoriaz (which lets you feel superior to everyone who doesn't know). My aim is for this show to give you a certain pleasure, in a mise en abyme as delicious as eating Camembert at Camembert.
