Jean-Marie Machado enjoys formations that venture off the beaten path. Two artists. For a multitude of instruments, zarb, bells and different kinds of metals, daf, custom drums, darbouka, udu… A multitude of sounds, colors, timbres. And in the middle a piano.
A piano that sings melodies in all its nudity, with lyricism, in resonance with the percussion. Those of Keyvan Chemirani, undisputed master of the zarb and digital percussion, holder of immense paternal heritage, rich with stunning dexterity.
Together, in a hushed dialogue, sometimes in unison, sometimes interweaving their conversations, they invite us on a journey of inventiveness and surprises, in an original and captivating atmosphere.
