Overview
Icelandic band Kaleo stops in Paris to present its blues rock tinged with folk during a date on its tour.
Formed in 2012 in Mosfellsbær, Kaleo made its name with a sound marked by blues rock influences, carried by the voice of its lead singer. After a first album released in 2013, the band gained international recognition with tracks featuring stripped-back yet powerful arrangements that blend acoustic and electric guitars.
On stage, the group delivers a raw energy faithful to the atmospheres of its studio recordings. The band favours a set alternating melancholic ballads with pieces at a faster tempo, offering a precise and direct collective performance.
This evening is aimed at fans of independent rock and contemporary blues. The audience gathers in the main hall of Zénith Paris - La Villette, a flexible space in the nineteenth arrondissement suited to large-scale concerts.
