About — The artist
Kaleo is an Icelandic folk and rock band, formed in 2012.
Its current members are Jökull Júlíusson (vocals and guitar), Davíð Antonsson (percussion and vocals), Daníel Ægir Kristjánsson (bass), Rubin Pollock (guitar and vocals) and Þorleifur Gaukur Davíðsson (harmonica and pedal steel guitar).
Kaleo has released four studio albums, Kaleo (2013), A/B (en) (2016), Surface Sounds (2021) and Mixed Emotions (2025), as well as an EP, Glasshouse (2013).
“Kaleo” means “the sound” in Hawaiian.
