Kermesse - Tournée

Doing the conga line all together on a show night. The idea seems simple, almost trivial. And yet this festive ritual provokes strong reactions: rejection, pleasure, embarrassment, euphoria.

Taking the conga line as its starting point, La Cabale delivers an inventive comedy that subtly questions our relationship with ridicule and shame.

What if dancing together could be a first step towards reconciliation? With a pronounced taste for Monty Python-style absurd humour, the nine actors dare everything: slapstick, excess, unashamed silliness and a stream of winks to the audience.

Welcome to Kermesse! The title sets the tone: cheerful. The atmosphere is that of a village fête, with confetti and firecrackers, the brassy strains of the village dance, XXL costumes and cardboard sets.

Driven by infectious energy and dazzling actors, the young company La Cabale offers us a unique experience and delivers a moment of theatre beyond the ordinary.

You leave with a smile on your lips, your mind free and, above all, with the urge to dance.
