[YOUNG AUDIENCE] Is it possible to travel to parallel worlds? In this wild comedy, where poetry flirts with science fiction, children and adults are drawn into an investigation full of twists and turns.

While participating in the creation of a play, a Year 5 class literally vanished. What could have happened? And what if this strange disappearance was linked to the theme of the show: journeys to other realities?

In this creation, nurtured by long-term work with two primary and secondary school classes in Seine-Saint-Denis, Collectif Mind The Gap and Théophile Dubus play with the boundaries between performer and character, fiction and reality. They develop an aesthetic of fabrication, in complicity with the audience, repurposing stage elements to tell their story live. Will they answer the questions of Gaby, who, at 9 years old, feels like she's not living in the right universe?

In a simple and ingenious set design, playfully manipulating objects highlighted by light, the three storytellers take us to real or fantastic places, with a breathtaking sense of rhythm.

They bring to life a gallery of characters who repeatedly cross a doorway, which is both the entrance to a classroom and an opening to imaginary whirlwinds. Which path to take? J’étais parti·e, pardon (dans un autre univers) is an ode to theatre as a place for the blossoming of imagination, discovery, and surprise.
