Oh Captain, my Captain… This line from LE CERCLE DES POETES DISPARUS still resonates. This charismatic, iconoclastic teacher inspires his young pupils, who are opening up to life, far from the straitjacket of convention embodied by their school.
A moving, contemporary story, the play celebrates friendship, emancipation and the passing on of values at the moment when personalities and destinies take shape. A cry for life! A cry for freedom! Carpe Diem! Carpe Diem!
