Le Malade imaginaire tells the daily life of Argan, a wealthy bourgeois convinced he is seriously ill. Obsessed with treatments and doctors, he decides to marry his daughter Angélique to Thomas Diafoirus, a ridiculous young doctor, in order to have a dedicated practitioner at home.

Angélique, however, loves Cléante, whom she believes to be a music teacher. Around them revolves a gallery of comic characters: Béline, the self-interested second wife, Béralde, the sensible brother, and especially Toinette, the lively and lucid maid.

To open Argan's eyes, Toinette disguises herself as a doctor and pushes medical absurdity to the extreme. Little by little, the truth comes out, self-interested plans fail, and love triumphs.

Doors open 30 minutes before the performance

The theatre's cloakroom is available free of charge from the moment the doors open.

For security reasons, the cloakroom only accepts jackets, coats, umbrellas, small bags and bicycle/motorcycle helmets.

No bulky or prohibited items will be admitted into the theatre.

Anyone arriving with luggage (backpack, suitcase) larger than 40x30x15 cm or with a prohibited item will be refused entry.
