LES BICHONS
Based on the hilarious journal of the Goncourt brothers, a comedy written and steeped in vitriol by Sylvain Beltran-Lamy with Patrick Préjean, Pierre Douglas and Sylvain Lamy
Paris 1896
Edmond de Goncourt has not recovered from the death of his brother, Jules, 26 years ago. He is preparing his will, which will secure their name for posterity. However, persistent signs make him believe the unthinkable. He senses his brother's presence at his side. Catastrophe! Nothing is going right! The manservant, Eugène, tries to reason with him. He is completely overwhelmed by Monsieur de Goncourt's behaviour. The situation becomes uncontrollable and delirious for the manservant.
The pen and the outsized personality of the dreaded Goncourt brothers will then come into their own, as acerbic as they are hilarious! Mix-up after mix-up; a piece of advice: hold on tight! Nothing and no one will stop these two legendary brothers while they are alive... and perhaps even after their death!
