Les Chansonniers - Manu Tchao

It's back, just as in 2007…2012…2017…2022. The satirists of the iconic Théâtre des Deux Ânes are hitting the road again for the upcoming presidential election. It's called "Manu Tchao"! Far from the prevailing vulgarity and the deafening racket of non-stop news, these musketeers of humour cheerfully put their finger exactly where it makes people laugh… and often think. "Bien braire et laisse rire" – "Bray loudly and let them laugh" – is the theatre's motto, and it has never held back for more than a century! With over fifty years of political observation behind him, Jacques MAILHOT, who has watched the highs and lows of the Fifth Republic pass by, has polished a show that is both incisive and hilarious about our institutions. With the brilliant complicity of his companions of long standing, Michel GUIDONI, Florence BRUNOLD and Gilles DÉTROIT, he invites us to take another look at politics straight in the eye.

With, more than ever, the unmatched sharpness of Les Chansonniers and the charm of finely crafted, well-written lines... A hilarious evening!
