A poetic, madcap odyssey, a veritable firework display of scraps of cardboard, crowned Best Public Theatre Show at the 2022 Molières!

After Bigre, Molière de la Comédie 2017, Pierre Guillois and Olivier Martin-Salvan, in a firework display of cardboard scraps, invite you on an imaginary voyage, a fusion of the crazy antics of a “cartoons” cabaret and a Shakespearean epic.

He leaves the plains of the Far North, cursed by a mermaid caught by accident. He escapes on roller skates, by scooter, in a cardboard aeroplane.

He discovers Scotland, heads south again on the back of a mule, slaughters a few bagpipers along the way, and searches for love, always. But the actor in the three-piece suit stays seated, which is the madness of the show.

His sidekick in a swimsuit bustles around him with hundreds of pieces of cardboard bearing the names of the countries, props or creatures encountered. Rambunctious adventures unfold through sheer ingenuity and gags: it is an explosion of brilliant and zany ideas.
