Les Subversives • Spectacle des Filles de Simone

At the crossroads of the intimate and the political, Les Filles de Simone revive three forgotten sororal utopias in this immersive piece, the fruit of long documentary research. With humour and tenderness, they weave a link between past and present to restore the full inspirational power of these collective experiments.

Take your seat in the circle and set off on a journey into the heart of these communities of women who dared to invent other ways of building society!

From the independent Beguines of the Middle Ages to the Maison des Babayagas in Montreuil founded by Thérèse Clerc, via a community of lesbian and ecofeminist women in 1970s Oregon, Les Filles de Simone tell three stories of survival and repair written from a female perspective.

Between fictional scenes inspired by real testimonies and playful moments, the two actresses invite us into a lively, offbeat exploration of their singular everyday lives, where one can move from a meeting about buying a chainsaw to a herbalist quiz.

Points). More and more of us are placing friendship at the heart of our lives. Some female friendships go beyond the classic framework of friendship: women buy houses together, found non-mixed third places, and marry to celebrate their bond of friendship.

They value a relationship with revolutionary power. Rather than making it a variable of adjustment, a 'buffer' or 'safety valve' relationship allowing them to manage other types of relationship, they put friendship at the centre of their lives and their interests.

And what if this model became more widespread? What would happen if female friendship carried the same social recognition as a couple and opened just as many doors: economic capital, social recognition, tax support, professional networks, personal fulfilment?
