Overview
In a language chiselled with glints and carefully arranged chiaroscuro, Louise O'sman unveils a new facet of her talent in the company of Jérémie Schacre, a seasoned guitarist navigating these latitudes. Together, the two manage to marry what words set to music in our most intimate and most cosmic questionings. The guitar moves through registers, textures and ornaments which the finesse of the touch makes as precious as they are perceptible, the text gradually exhaling like a perfume drifting from the flow of the sounds. The very nature of the duo allows this alliance to yield nothing to triviality, and to take the tangent of everyday days, happily slipping towards a state of grace that delights the ear and the soul. For a moment, the music has the elegance to suspend time – and the words to coax it.
Residency dates: from Monday 12 to Thursday 15 October.
