La mal coiffée
The most dishevelled vocal ensemble in the world of Occitan polyphony returns with a creation rooted in a distant yet persistent reality.
La mal coiffée: on Friday 6 November 2026 at 20:00, at Cité de la Musique de Marseille - L'Auditorium, Médiathèque (13001 Marseille).
Checked on 15 October 2026.
Overview
The most dishevelled vocal ensemble in the world of Occitan polyphony returns with a creation rooted in a distant yet persistent reality. It is through the edges of the peripheries that we find our way back to the heart of things, where the trees begin to speak again, the humus begins to well up, and the birds answer the humans who had stopped hearing them.
A poetry that restores the sounds of the living to our ears and gives free rein to the imagination, freeing it from subjugation and assigned roles. Vocal music of high craft, percussion, and the arrival of unexpected instrumental colours … but hush! Even if the surprise is not complete, Carla Gaudré, Létitia Dutech, Karin Berny and Myriam Boisserie will celebrate the first rustlings here with us!
