Overview
A pianist with a delicate touch, singer, author, composer, arranger and director of her own albums, she is back on stage with a fourth album, Phenomenal Women. A sincere album radiating luminous energy.
An ode to life and female power that reveals Macha Gharibian in a new light, because, while she has not forgotten the piano, her voice finally takes centre stage.
She steps into the foreground and joins the very exclusive club that runs from Nina Simone to Jeanne Lee, by way of Mélissa Laveaux. She sings in French, Armenian, Spanish, English and Brazilian Portuguese to make borders waltz and to give thanks to the hybrid roots of jazz.
