“Madame Joconde”, the period comedy that finally imagines how the world’s most popular painting was created. And since we didn’t have all the historical elements… we invented them!

• Italy. To save his marriage, François Joconde has a brilliant idea: to offer his wife Lisa her portrait, painted by Leonardo da Vinci. But how can he make her pose without her noticing?

Especially since the Pope, on a surprise visit, has decided to condemn all artists who paint anything other than religious figures…

Full of anachronism, tongue-in-cheek humour, and parody… in the vein of the humour of Monty Python’s “Spamalot” and Alexandre Astier’s “Kaamelott”. A wild show that brings the Renaissance back to life, and gives life to the mysterious Mona Lisa in flesh and blood. You will discover how she came to pose for her portrait, and why she smiles… The story of the most famous of women about whom we know almost nothing.
