What if Freud had been Hitler's psychoanalyst? Could the absolute evil have been avoided?

In this "stand-up d'art et d'essai, conférence et confidence, mi-idiot, mi-intello" (an art-house stand-up, lecture and confidence, half idiot, half intellectual), Éric Feldman explores with humour and gravity the traumas of the "hidden children" who survived the Shoah: his own parents, uncles and aunts. Following the thread of a mystery one finds oneself wanting to solve, the text plunges us into a whirlwind of thoughts, emotions, laughter and memories with Yiddish undertones. We meet, among others, Uncle Lucien and Aunt Sarah, the great writer Isaac Bashevis Singer, Milosh, Éric's cat, and we think of the great figures of New York Jewish comedians.

An autofiction that goes beyond one's personal history, touches people's hearts and celebrates, in these dark times, the fragility and the miracle of being alive.
