Radio Live - Nos Vies à Venir
Radio Live Nos vies à venir Aurélie Charon theatre Salle Renaud-Barrault Estimated duration of each chapter: 2h30 Inhabiting the world and building community on a larger scale For more than a decade, Aurélie Charon, a producer at France Culture, has been travelling the world with a microphone in hand, meeting her contemporaries and forging lasting friendships and enduring bonds. The question of reconstruction in Syria, in Gaza, and even still in Lebanon, arises forcefully. Rayane, Amir and Hala believe in the lives we have not yet lived, but for which we fight, through education, cinema and poetry. We travelled to Hermel in Lebanon, on the Syrian border, to meet Rayane at the secular school "Esprits libres" that she co-founded. Amir was stranded at the start of the war in Gaza in 2023, before returning to France and managing to evacuate part of his family. We went with him to meet Hala's sisters, a Syrian filmmaker, and their mother, who left Syria after the massacres on the coast. How can we think about reconstruction? Staging and writing: Aurélie Charon, in collaboration with Amélie Bonnin and Gala Vanson With, in rotation: Karam Al Kafri, Sihame El Mesbahi, Amir Hassan, Rayane Jawhary, Yannick Kamanzi, Oksana Leuta, Hala Rajab, Ines Tanoviæ (in progress), and the participation of Anna Leuta Musical creation and live music: Emma Prat Live visual creation: Gala Vanson Artistic collaboration: Mathilde Gamon Graphic identity: Amélie Bonnin Filmed images and photographs: Thibault de Chateauvieux, Aurélie Charon, Hala Aljaber Video editing: Céline Ducreux, Mohamed Mouaki Stage design: Pia de Compiègne Lighting design, general stage management, video stage management: Thomas Cottereau Lighting operation: Vincent Dupuy Sound operation and audio mixing: Benoît Laur Production management: Mathilde Gamon Encounters drawn from the radio series and travels of Aurélie Charon and Caroline Gillet
