Supposée meurtrière de ses enfants, la Colchidienne a beau s’attirer beaucoup de foudres, son drame traverse les temps sans prendre une seule ride.
Mais ici, Jason doit répondre de sa trahison amoureuse et Ben Duke nous prévient: « Ceci n’est pas l’histoire de Médée telle que vous croyez la connaître!
» En déjouant le regard masculin sur un récit fondateur et moral, il interroge notre mémoire collective et nous rappelle que Médée n’est pas un monstre, mais une femme avec ses désirs et son désespoir.
