sophia stel: the greatest tour of all time

Sophia Stel at La Gaité Lyrique

Super! presents Sophia Stel at La Gaîté Lyrique on 11 February 2027!

A musician all her life, Stel composed her first melodies a cappella before discovering a lasting passion for beat-making at school. After settling in Vancouver, Stel honed her production skills, spending long nights in a modest studio set up in the basement of the DIY club Paradise, now closed, where she worked at the time, diligently setting up and taking down equipment after each night.

It was a period of artistic freedom that coincided with her first steps towards real independence: leaving the family home, feeling free. It was also there that she refined what became her sonic signature: an intimacy that seems as well suited to the hazy, introspective walk home from the club as to the wild moments at the heart of the dance floor. Her first EP, *Object Permanence* (2024), and the rousing, dreamlike soundscapes of her second release, *How To Win At Solitaire* (2025), which included the breakout hit "I'll Take It", were acclaimed by critics, earning Stel a place on the "26 artists to watch in 2026" list, as well as other accolades from DAZED, The FADER, NME and Office Magazine.

Stel's meteoric rise is as much the result of her fierce determination as of her ability to distil that energy into pure pop. The Greatest Album of All Time is the work of an artist who sees beyond the realm of the possible, weaving a constellation of songs whose resonance goes beyond their simple frame: an ethereal, endless soundtrack devoted to human connection.
