A series of shows about painting. A stand-up show with music and images. "TOUTE L’HISTOIRE DE LA PEINTURE is a series of shows, both funny and educational, on Western painting from the 14th to the 20th century. It's a kind of stand-up with images, accompanied by musicians and a giant screen projecting breathtaking details. A complete, visually sophisticated, musical, and hilarious show by an original, passionate, and educational expert. The series currently offers 7 different routes that are played in alternation. Based on a wall of 1000 images, each 'route' offers a visit through the entire History of Painting, but by way of a selection of different works, picked from almost every century.

Each show is self-contained: you can start with any of them.

• Route « Caravage etc.  » (K) – Giotto, Mantegna, Léonard (La Cène), Caravage… (through the public life of Jesus) (new route)
• Route « Rembrandt etc.  » (D) – Giorgione, Titien, Rembrandt, Lucian Freud…
• Route « Bosch etc.  » (C) – Van Eyck, Bosch, Grünewald, Manet, Aillaud…
• Route « Monet etc.  » (M) – Monet, Seurat, Picasso, Mondrian, Bacon, Leroy…
• Route « Jésus etc.  » (J) – Piero, Mantegna, Bosch, Léonard, Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin, Fragonard (through the childhood of Jesus)
• Route « Ingres etc.  » (B) – Angelico, Raphaël, Pontormo, Vélasquez, Ingres…
• Route « Léonard etc.  » (A) – Léonard, Chardin, Cézanne, Van Gogh…

These various shows have been successively performed at the Théâtre de l’Atelier, La Cigale, L’Olympia, Le 13e Art, and now at Le Théâtre Libre, attracting over 220,000 spectators since 2019. Date details:
