Toute L'Histoire de la Peinture en Moins de Deux Heures

TOUTE L'HISTOIRE DE LA PEINTURE EN MOINS DE DEUX HEURES—————————————A cycle of shows about painting. A stand-up in music and images.

"TOUTE L'HISTOIRE DE LA PEINTURE is a cycle of shows, at once funny and educational, about Western painting from the 14th to the 20th century. It is a kind of stand-up in images, accompanied by musicians and a giant screen projecting breathtaking details. A complete show, visually sophisticated, musical and wildly funny, by an original, passionate and didactic expert. The cycle currently offers 7 different routes, which are performed in rotation. Built around a wall of 1,000 images, each "route" sets out to visit the whole history of painting, but by way of a selection of different works, taken from almost every century. Each show is self-contained: you can start with any one of them.

• Route "Caravaggio etc." (K) – Giotto, Mantegna, Leonardo (The Last Supper), Caravaggio… (through the public life of Jesus) (new route)
• Route "Rembrandt etc." (D) – Giorgione, Titian, Rembrandt, Lucian Freud…
• Route "Bosch etc." (C) – Van Eyck, Bosch, Grünewald, Manet, Aillaud…
• Route "Monet etc." (M) – Monet, Seurat, Picasso, Mondrian, Bacon, Leroy…
• Route "Jesus etc." (J) – Piero, Mantegna, Bosch, Leonardo, Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin, Fragonard (through the childhood of Jesus)
• Route "Ingres etc." (B) – Angelico, Raphael, Pontormo, Velázquez, Ingres…

These various shows have successively been performed at the Théâtre de l'Atelier, La Cigale, the Olympia, the 13e Art and now the Théâtre Libre, attracting more than 220,000 spectators since 2019.
