Arkona + Seth + The Geat Old Ones

Formed in Moscow in 2002 by Masha and Warlock, ARKONA's music pays homage to nature, pagan beliefs, and the historical past of their country, through a metal heavily imbued with folklore. After a first demo "Rus", the band's line-up evolved and Masha teamed up with members of NARGATHROND. Together, they recorded "Revival". As soon as the first album hit the shelves, Masha dedicated herself to composing "Lepta", the second album, which was released in winter 2004.

It was from their third opus, "Vo Slavu Velikim", that the band decided to set aside the synth a little and use traditional ethnic instruments (which led to numerous live and studio collaborations). Following these first 3 opuses, the band successively released "Ot Serdca K Nebu" (2007), "Goi, Rode, Goi! " (2009), "Slovo" (2011), "Yav" (2014), "Vozrozhdenie" (2016) and "Khram" (2018).

ARKONA finally returns 5 years later with their ninth studio album, "Kob'" (2023) released via Napalm Records. Once again, the musicians delve into the dark depths of their singer Masha's philosophy and her vision of the future, modern existence, and humanity, while imbuing their music with pagan traditions. Back for a new European tour, ARKONA brings with them two emblematic French black metal bands, SETH and THE GREAT OLD ONES.
