A searing, radical and poetic theatre text on colonisation and the way it shaped the world we live in today. A family saga, at once historical, political and human, unfolding before, during and after the Algerian War of Independence. Six voices intertwine and nest within one another: those of the father, the mother, the brother and the sisters — very wealthy colonists, owners for several generations of an immense estate — and that of the Kabyle wet nurse.
