Céline raconte Madeleine

A meeting between Céline Malraux and Manon Landowski focusing on the life of concert pianist Madeleine Malraux.

It is in the form of a diary that Céline Malraux gave voice to Madeleine Malraux, her grandmother, a form that allows a return to the past while respecting her inherent subjectivity.

"With a slight intimacy", is the title of Céline's book, a title in the manner of Erik Satie whose whimsical annotations are so many winks to the performer and whom Madeleine placed at the very top of her pantheon of musicians.

A fascinating object-book, the fruit of a considerable collection of information which, as a journalist, she gathered from her grandmother and which will be reissued in September.

Céline Malraux will enter into a dialogue with Manon Landowski, whose father was the first Director of Music at the Ministry of Culture under André Malraux. Céline Malraux is a French author, director, and researcher in American literature.

She is a member of the André Malraux Prize. First prize winner of the Conservatoire national supérieur de danse, Manon Landowski pursues a career as a singer, dancer, and actress. With the participation of the students from the piano class of the 6th arrondissement Conservatory.

Event labeled as the André Malraux Fiftieth Anniversary by the Ministry of Culture and included in the Monte le son 2026 program of the libraries of the City of Paris.
