Overview
The 50th anniversary of the Centre Pompidou is being celebrated at Chaillot!
Since 2025, the Centre Pompidou has been undergoing a transformation. Its iconic building in the Beaubourg district of Paris is closing its doors for renovation, which will allow it to reconnect with its original utopia from 2030 and project itself into the future.
The Centre Pompidou is using this period to take its collection on the road and share the richness of its multidisciplinary programme. In 2027, a Centre Pompidou in Constellation will celebrate its 50th anniversary!
Chaillot, the palace of Art Deco and Dance, will take part in this celebration for a weekend. The whole spirit of the Centre Pompidou is embodied in this hybrid programme, which brings together all the arts.
During Chaillot Expérience, the theatre becomes a playground and a place of encounters: performances that spring up, workshops where you can experiment, and festive and musical moments.
A myriad of artistic proposals will bring gestures and forms into dialogue and, through movement, reveal the subtle links between dance and contemporary visual arts. “Equity as a compass. Self-taught learning as a method.
” — Saïdo Lehlouh, Choreographer and co-director of the FAIR-E collective / CCN de Rennes et de Bretagne
