Overview
Crawfish Wallet brings the spirit of New Orleans to life with a generous swing, driven by blues, brass bands, and a strong sense of collective spirit.
Anchored in the Bordeaux jazz scene, Crawfish Wallet draws from the New Orleans repertoire to fuel a lively and unpretentious music.
The quartet relies on an unusual formation: Amandine's voice and washboard dialogue with the trombone, while the banjo and double bass establish a flexible and catchy rhythm.
Reimagined standards and original compositions naturally coexist, with room left for improvisation and exchange. On stage, the group prioritises collective momentum and the joy of shared playing. A way of keeping this musical heritage alive without freezing it in nostalgia.
