A disciple of Carlos Gonçalves – guitarist and composer for Amália Rodrigues – she has received numerous awards and distinctions since 2012, most recently the "Best Instrumental Performance at the IPMA Awards" in 2025.
She has also collaborated with heavyweights such as Richard Bona, Mayra Andrade, Tito Paris, Jaques Morelenbaum... and became known to the general public through her standout performance during a Tiny Desk Concert in 2023.
