Cyrano… if he were to come alive today, who would he be? Perhaps a rapper, one with a love for words and the fire of a conscience… And the Cadets de Gascogne would have the panache of our streets! This is not about rewriting Rostand's text. It's about rediscovering the contemporary relevance of his words. Brought to the stage by a large, young, and explosive troupe, the work unfolds all its sharpness. It reminds us how much the desire to live freely, lovingly, and poetically continues to drive us… This show aims to be a bridge: between the old and the new, between the group and the individual, between the powerful arts of theatre, dance, and rap, between laughter and lyricism… to touch what Cyrano himself calls: Panache!
