Overview
Presented by Le Théâtre de l'épée de bois. Cyrano… if he came to life today, who would he be? Perhaps a rapper, the one who has a love of words and the fury of a conscience… And the Cadets de Gascogne would have the panache of our streets!
The aim here is not to rewrite Rostand's text. It is to rediscover the relevance of his words. Brought to the stage by a large, young and explosive company, the work unleashes its full cutting edge.
It reminds us how much the desire to live freely, lovingly and poetically continues to drive us... This show aims to be a bridge: between the old and the new, between the group and the unique, between the powerful arts of theatre, dance and rap, between laughter and lyricism...
to reach what Cyrano himself calls: the Panache!
