Danakil

Presented by Baco Music. Danakil has remained at the forefront of the French reggae scene for over 20 years. After two sold-out shows at L'Olympia in 2021, their next appearance in Paris could only be at Le Zénith!

As you already know, there's nothing better than seeing them live to experience it! The atmosphere at their concerts is always full of complicity with their audience, and testifies to the deep connection between the members of the “Danakil family” that has endured all these years.

The meticulous quality of their shows has also built their reputation and promises to be unforgettable for a celebration as significant as a Zénith concert!

Danakil has produced 6 albums and recorded numerous dub versions, several live albums, and collaborated on stage or in the studio with many renowned artists, travelled to Jamaica, and even earned a gold record and a platinum single for the classic “Marley”!

Ultimately, it is their unique imprint, stamped with the seal of independence and activism, that they have imposed on the French musical landscape, beyond the world of reggae.

September 2024 marks a new stage for Danakil, with the release of the album « Demain peut-être  », several tracks of which have already proven particularly effective both in streaming and in concert!

The band continues its evolution, pushing production work even further within their own studio (the Baco Studio in Bordeaux) to create their best rhythms and melodies, constantly experimenting in search of a powerful, analogue sound.
