Danakil is a French reggae band, originally from Marly-le-Roi, in the Paris region. Formed in 2000, the band delivers a committed message through their diverse music, oscillating between reggae and world music. In 2011, the band created the independent label Baco Records, which is now Baco Music, encompassing activities as a tour promoter, publisher, distributor, and recording studio.
