The 7 à l’Ouest festival returns for its 4th edition of shows for families. Once again, Francheville kicks off the series of 7 shows from the 7 communes of Val d’Yzeron with a performance full of poetry and lightness: “Deux rien”.

Through mime and dance, the artists tell the present story of these forgotten souls. A strange duo, whose history remains unknown to us. No past, no future, only the beauty of the present moment. But what are they doing there? Nothing, twice nothing! They are sitting there, sharing a small piece of bench just big enough for their two pairs of bottoms. Clinging to each other, buoy or burden, they hold on at the edge of the abyss, for better or for worse. These “deux riens”, real-life clandestines, keep busy, write to each other, invent an elsewhere, an in-between, and choose to board the real world through play. Life and fiction respond to each other without interruption. One element acts as a beacon, a last anchor to the real world: a bench. A theatre for our emotions...
