Overview
Editors return with a brand new single, 'Call It In', and announce tour dates for 2027 across the UK and Europe. 'Call It In' marks the band's first new track since their 2022 studio album EBM.
It was born from studio sessions between Tom Smith's debut solo album, There Is Nothing In The Dark That Isn't There In The Light, and their ongoing shows.
Evolution has always been at the heart of Editors' music across their seven studio albums, and 'Call It In' hints at the next chapter of one of Britain's most iconic bands.
Speaking about the single, frontman Tom Smith said: "We spent much of summer 2025 locked away in the Gloucestershire countryside, working on songs all together in a room, in a more traditional band setup. 'Call It In' is one of the most recent pieces we've worked on.
It's a song about asking for help in the throes of existential dread, finding comfort with a close one, and escaping the deafening noise of modern life.
" The track, available now via Play It Again Sam, is accompanied by a music video directed by the band's guitarist, Justin Lockey.
