About — The artist
Editors are a British indie rock band, originally from Birmingham, England. The original line-up consisted of Tom Smith, Russell Leetch, Edward Lay, and Chris Urbanowicz. They have released three studio albums, The Back Room (2005), An End Has a Start (2007), and In This Light and on This Evening (2009), all of which topped the charts in the UK, with the first two certified platinum. The third album marked a significant musical shift with a much more electronic sound. In 2012, Chris Urbanowicz left the band, while two new members, Justin Lockey and Elliott Williams, joined the line-up. For their fourth album, The Weight of Your Love (2013), the band returned to a more rock-oriented sound.
