Gentlewoman is a hip-hop dance show. It speaks to the strong bonds between women. The dancers perform solo, in pairs or as a group. Paradox-Sal is an all-female crew made up of dancers of exceptional technical level and strong personalities.

Originally brought together by the late Ousmane Sy around house music, he directed them in two hugely successful pieces, Queen Blood and One Shot, which together have racked up more than 300 performances across Europe.

Gentlewoman, the first choreography they've created in their own name, is a show of electrifying energy — of which we had the privilege of a first glimpse at our 40th anniversary.

In it, the Paradox-Sal explore the strength of the sacred bonds that unite women, offering a celebration that is both intimate and universal. In line, in groups, solo or in duets, they assert their identities and their sisterhood.
