George Sans S

Step into her house in Nohant. It was here, in a haven of peace bordered by a flowering garden and a pond, that Aurore Dupin, better known as George Sand, wrote most of her work.

This place welcomed a steady procession of neighbours, friends and artists: Balzac, Flaubert and, of course, Chopin, her lover. In an immersive, shifting staging, four women bring George Sand to life. They circle around her, searching for answers.

Rediscover the epic breath of Les Anges au Plafond and let yourself be carried away by the novelistic life of this great writer, who left her mark on her century through her republican, social and feminist commitment.
