She loves the age of the forest and the whirl of the mirror balls. In her songs, which have the air of fables, Gisèle Pape weaves spaces of reverie.

Her nocturnal landscapes are populated by fragile bodies, fireflies kept close to hand to light up the shadows, and trackers searching for the lost immensity of the plains.

Between hypnotic pop and experimental electro, Gisèle weaves dreamlike, sensitive songs about the intimate and nature, letting her clear voice soar along byways. Her first album, Caillou, released in January 2021, was honoured with a Coup de cœur from the Académie Charles Cros.

An artist of singular character, driven by a gentle strangeness, Gisèle Pape's journey has encompassed the study of classical organ, film studies at the Ecole Louis Lumière and the practice of light.

An insatiable explorer of words and sounds, she weaves spaces of reverie and re-enchants the fragilities of this world.

Between hypnotic pop and experimental electro, her first two records, Oiseau and Caillou, took us into nocturnal landscapes populated by fragile bodies and trackers in search of the lost immensity of the plains.

Gisèle Pape returns with a second album, Disquette, a pop album with a strong electronic influence, released on 31 January 2025 and mixed by Ash Workman (Metronomy, Christine and the Queens, Malik Djoudi).
