Gospel Dream

Presented by L'Association Chants Authentiques GOSPEL DREAM: GOSPEL CONCERT AT ESPACE BERNANOS! A true institution of Parisian heritage since 1989, Gospel Dream celebrates life, hope, and unity through the authentic songs of the African-American Church. With over 800 concerts to its name, it is now one of the most active Gospel groups on the scene. This mixed and cosmopolitan ensemble brings together artists from Africa, the West Indies, and the United States: a dozen voices (soprano, contralto, tenor, and bass) accompanied by one or two musicians. All bear witness to the resilience of a people who transformed pain into hope, drawing strength from the powerful message of Gospel. Carried by the talent of artists who sublimate and harmonise each voice, from the softest whispers to improvised vocalises, these performances make each concert a true act of remembrance and a vibrant hymn to love. The audience is invited to sing, participate, and share a suspended moment of joy, fraternity, and deep connection, regardless of age or belief. In the heart of the lively Grands Boulevards district, the fervour of African-American Gospel resonates at Espace Bernanos, a vibrant cultural venue adjacent to the Église Saint-Louis d'Antin: a warm encounter, where the fervour of Gospel from across the Atlantic finds a setting conducive to emotion and sharing.
