Groundation

The American band Groundation takes to the stage to present their reggae with jazz and funk influences.

Formed in California, the band Groundation became known for their unique approach to reggae, incorporating elements of jazz, soul and funk. Led by singer and guitarist Harrison Stafford, the collective stands out for its sophisticated arrangements, polished brass sections and psychedelic keyboard sounds. Since their debut, the formation has released several landmark albums such as Hebron Gate, which laid the foundations of their sonic identity, bridging traditional roots reggae and instrumental improvisations.

On stage, the musicians deploy a collective energy during generous sets where the dialogue between instruments takes center stage. The formation expands its usual instrumentation to capture the complexity of its compositions live. This concert is particularly aimed at fans of roots reggae and refined instrumental music, eager to discover a collective committed to rigorous live execution and sonic explorations.
