Groundation

GROUNDATION US - Reggae Formed in 1998, Groundation quickly established their unique style from their very first albums and were soon propelled to international renown.

Their symbiosis of roots reggae and experimental jazz transports us between soaring heights and explosive crescendos, dazzling solos and surprisingly intimate passages... all combined with the distinctive voice and energy of Harrison Stafford.

Since 2000, Groundation has been paying tribute to Bob Marley's heritage through a special event: a unique tour designed to celebrate the music, message and timeless influence of the king of reggae.

Much more than a simple celebration of Marley's timeless songs, these performances pay homage to the Wailers, whose groundbreaking musical talent laid the foundations of roots reggae.

Drawing inspiration from both the great classics and Marley's most profound and revolutionary works, Groundation infuses this music with its own spiritual energy and unique interpretation, punctuated by improvisation, thus creating a powerful stage experience that connects Bob's message to our modern era.

This tribute was performed only once in Europe in 2011. Above all, it has met with great success during tours in the USA and South America.

To mark the anniversary of Bob Marley's passing on 11 May 1981, Groundation will present A Tribute to Bob Marley in Europe in May 2027, thereby celebrating one of the greatest musical legacies of all time. com/@groundationofficial
