J'ai une théorie _ Scali Delpeyrat
The writer-performer returns for the second instalment of his playful, offbeat psychological saga.
J'ai une théorie _ Scali Delpeyrat: from 10 to 20 November 2026, at Théâtre de la Ville – Sarah Bernhardt (75004 Paris).
Checked on 26 October 2026.
Overview
The writer-performer returns for the second instalment of his playful, offbeat psychological saga.
J'ai une théorie is the sequel to Je ne suis plus inquiet, first staged at the Théâtre de la Ville in 2021. Once again we meet the same moon-struck, solitary character, eager to describe every detail of his peculiar life, made up of daily rituals and minor catastrophes. This time Scali Delpeyrat plays him in the ridiculous yet touching guise of the lovelorn man.
A obsessive and partial account of a broken romance, J'ai une théorie paints a gleefully sharp portrait of a man stuck in a repetitive pattern: love stories doomed from the outset. To escape it, through the cunning of analysis and the pleasures of lamentation, the character must first lay himself bare, but above all he must work out his mysterious theory.
