Overview
In a skilful blend of contemporary music, jazz and Bantu music, Rébecca M’Boungou’s committed writing brings to the fore feminist, children’s rights, ecological and decolonial struggles without ever detaching them from the intimate.
The magic happens when the groove sets hearts vibrating and bodies dancing.
Brilliantly joined by generous and sensitive musicians and people, Jérôme Martineau Ricotti on drums, Jérémie Poirier Quinot on transverse flute, keyboards and vocals, Johary Rakotondramasy on bass, Joël Riffard on guitar and Vianney Desplantes on flugabone, euphonium and vocals, they together offer on stage a transcendental experience to anyone willing to plunge in fully.
