Overview
Ladaniva, the group fronted by the talented voice of Jaklin Baghdasaryan and French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas, champions world music of rare richness that brings together sound memories from all their travels. Blending traditional Armenian music with that of the Balkans, and maloya with reggae, their music transcends folk traditions to forge a singular and explosive identity, that of Ladaniva.
There follow global hits such as "Kef Chilini", which has become an anthem sung at every celebration in the Armenian diaspora and has amassed more than 26 million views on YouTube, "Shakar", their zesty pop hit, or even "Jako", which was catapulted in front of tens of millions of viewers at Eurovision 2024, where Ladaniva represented Armenia.
