L'Eclipse

L'Éclipse Leslie Bernard and Matthias Jacquin / Collectif Bajour Construction (and deconstruction) of self In a small Jura village, seven teenagers meet the day before school starts. Attending the same secondary school, they get to know the teachers who will guide them towards adulthood, including a dance teacher who is as demanding as he is ambiguous… Nearly twenty years later, they meet again for dinner. They confront their memories of those years spent together and the marks they left on the adults they have become. Amidst first romantic experiences and existential questions, a choral fresco unfolds, imbued with an insatiable thirst for life. An intense, funny, and dark coming-of-age journey about adolescence and the imprint it leaves on our adult lives.
