L'Eclipse

L'Éclipse Leslie Bernard and Matthias Jacquin / Collectif Bajour Construction (and deconstruction) of the self. In a small village in the Jura, seven teenagers meet on the eve of the new school year.

Attending the same secondary school, they get to know the teachers who will guide them towards adulthood, including a dance teacher as demanding as he is ambiguous… Almost twenty years later, they reunite over dinner.

They compare their memories of the years they spent together and the marks those years left on the adults they have become. Through first experiences of love and existential questioning unfolds a choral fresco imbued with an insatiable thirst for life.

An intense, funny and dark initiation journey into adolescence and the imprint it leaves on our adult lives. Directed by Leslie Bernard and Matthias Jacquin. With Julien Derivaz, Alicia Devidal, Douglas Grauwels, Hector Manuel, Asja Nadjar, Mathias Labelle, Adèle Zouane.
